Black is a very nice easy going horse. His tall and good conformation combined with a good mind and provided with awsome gaiths makes him a perfect horse for any discipline. Note that on his mother's side, Thoroughbreds TopDeck and two of his sons Moon deck JR. and Go Man Go are very present in his pedegree. Black's conformation and gaiths reflect this even 5 generations later. He collects himself as much as a pleasure horse but extends and stretches his gaits like a Thoroughbred for english to driving classes. If you are a pleasure or combined driver you have to consider this horse. Even though he has some TB. his caracter is the one of a good Quarter horse, always calm and respecting of his handler. He does not bite or kick, loads and travels well, and is not affraid of cars on the road when ridden or driven. He will walk into or cross a ditch, enter water shoulder high and won't mind any obstacle.
